Whisky Headliner Martine Nouet Hosting Burns Supper at Athenaeum on 25 Jan with Balvenie

Martine will revisit the traditional Burns Night supper and pair each of four courses with specially selected drams of Balvenie, stunning single malt from its distillery in Scotland’s east coast Speyside.

Martine an international taster and whisky/food matching expert (recently in Australia for Whisky Live) will guide guests through the Burns Supper menu and share her marvelous whisky tales. Joining her is The Balvenie ambassador Alwynne Gwilt, (aka Miss and the Athenaeum’s very own whisky sommelier, Ivo Silva.

The Athenaeum and its famous Whisky Bar host a whisky social every month and has one of the most extensive collections of whisky in the United Kingdom. Over 300 whiskies are available for guests to trial – and Ivo is available for personal tastings for those who want to increase their whisky repertoire.

The Whisky Bar also offers a whisky and cheese pairing experience from £15 per course.
